To make the most of your holidays in La Rosiere 1850, Chalet Matsuzaka proposes 5 spacious bedrooms each with it’s own distinctive flavour and style or an independant apartment for 4/6 people.
Hayashi Apartment
NEW for 2024/25 - Hayashi self-catering apartment.
A newly appointed apartment on the 1st floor styled with a touch of Japan “Washitsu” well equipped to take up to 6 people with:
- A main bedroom for a couple with 160x200cm bed
- A "mountain corner" with bunk beds of 90x190cm ideal for two teenagers or children
- Sofa bed in the living area
Located on the 1st floor, the “Hayashi” (forest) Apartment is a spacious 50m² space fully equipped with kitchen, a shower room with toilet and sink, fluffy bathrobes, TV, hair dryer, towels and linen (included) and south facing terrace. Reservations operating from Sunday to Sunday uniquely.
Our rooms
Five spacious bedrooms with south facing balconies, large en-suite bathrooms equipped with bath, separate showers, twin basins and a separate toilet room. All are equipped with fluffy bathrobes, hair dryers, tea / coffee facilities, mini-fridges, safes etcetera. The different configurations are:
- L’Aigle Rouge (family) is our large 40m2 room with a king size double 160x200cm bed, and a further two 80x190cm singles as well as a smaller 70x150cm bed for a little one. This room can be configured in different ways up to a maximum of 4 people.
- Mont Pourri (double) is a 30m2 room for either 1 adult or a couple with a king size 160x200cm bed.
- Bellevarde, Foglietta and L’Averne are three 35m2 triple rooms which can be configured in different ways for max 3 people each.
Mansard rooms
Moving up to the 3rd and top floor of the chalet you’ll find three Junior Mansard Suite bedrooms, why not treat yourself to the best views and make the most of your holidays in La Rosiere. Taking full advantage of the height under the roof with beamed ceilings, large windows and large terrace balconies. All are south facing with exceptional 180°views over the valley from Ste Foy in the east, the Tignes barrage to the La Plagne ski area to the west.
- Snowdon n°8 a double junior suite with a KING size bed (40m²) for 2 adults (additional beds can be added for small children).
- Ben Nevis n°9 a duplex suite with a KING size bed (40m²) for 2 adults and a mezzanine (12m²) with 2 single beds (90×200) for a further 2 children or 2 adults.
- Scafell Pike n°10 a very spacious suite (40m²) with a QUEEN size double bed and a separate curtained off area (20m2) “the den” for two or three small children (under 10s) with futon style beds (80×190).
All the Mansard rooms are equipped with large bathrooms featuring whirlpool baths, large showers, twin stone basins and a living space to relax and unwind.
